Passport to Adventure

Be careful what you wish for!  This time last year I was in the process of changing jobs and hoping so dearly that my new job would involve "some required travel."  Now, one year later I look at my schedule for 2011 and I swear I think I will be gone more than I am home!  Of course mixed in with that "some required travel" is personal travel.  In preparation for a busy travel year, last Friday I applied for my first passport.  Boy what a process that is.  In case you need to apply for a passport in the near future, start preparing now and research all the required documents that you will need.

What exotic international locale am I visiting you ask?  Toronto, Canada.  Oh and did I mention in February...the middle of winter!  When I think of Canada, I tend to think of a rustic woodsy scene, and in full disclosure the only thing I know about Toronto is that is where Sarah's House (on HGTV) is filmed.  Sadly, this particular visit is 100% business, I am not staying an additional day as I typically do to explore and experience the local scene.

With one stamp on my passport, I hope to get my second one on a journey to the Bahamas on the Disney Dream...someday....
