Time flies when you're having fun! It's about 2 weeks away from my trip to the great white north, and while I start to think about boring stuff like what work clothes I'm going to take and how I can pack just a carry-on for my trip so I don't have to check luggage, I thought I would fill you in on the details of my trip.
Depart Kentucky Sunday 2/27 at 6:00 am (yes that means even at our tiny airport I have to be there at least at 5!)
Arrive in Toronto Sunday 2/27 circa 11:00 am
Sunday is luckily mostly a "free day" All day Monday (6 am - 8 pm) I will be in meetings/ networking. Tuesday is only 1/2 day of meetings.
Depart Toronto Tuesday 3/1 at 5:00 pm
Arrive back home Tuesday 3/1 at 9:00 pm
So it's a pretty whirl-wind trip. As sad as I am that I won't get to experience much of Canada, I am researching restaurants close to our hotel (so I don't have to live on room service) and possible shopping to at least see Toronto a little bit. I still have lots on the pre-trip to do list like call the bank and figure out how to spend money in Canada and see if you know my cell phone will work there. I wish I could eat at Le Cellier while I am in Canada....
I did find out that I will be in San Francisco May 9-12 and at Disney World a few weeks later May 18-22 for Vacation, HOORAY!!!!! I am very excited about going back to San Fran, and really want to find some cool things to do while I'm there.
On a completely separate note, my health and wellness journey continues. I've been working REALLY hard this week and putting in lots of time at the gym. I've done my 30 minute work out 4 days so far this week, and hope to squeeze in 2 more. I am really hoping all that hard work pays off at the scale at Weight Watchers on Wednesday.
